HME Technologies | AI Operations Lead | REMOTE | Full-Time | $40k-$75k base + Bonus

HME Technologies (https://hmetech.com/) is a small, profitable media and affiliate marketing company. We build audiences, sell sponsorships, and run a growing portfolio of content properties across YouTube and emerging platforms. We're operator-run, AI-native, and looking for our first AI Operations Lead to work directly with the co-founder to turn our AI capabilities into a serious operational advantage.

What you will do:

> Build the short-form engine: Design and run an AI-leveraged workflow to repurpose years of long-form content into 50-100 pieces/week for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.

> Stand up owned analytics: Move us off spreadsheets and partner dashboards. Build clear tracking for email growth, content performance, and affiliate attribution.

> Be the AI execution engine: Build automations (Make, Zapier, n8n) and write Python or JavaScript when needed to glue systems together.

> Operationalize AI internally: Build practical AI workflows for our creative directors, salespeople, and content producers to speed up their output.

What we are looking for:

- You ship: You aren't just "AI-curious"—you use Claude, ChatGPT, and automation tools to do real work every week.

- You operate: You can take a directive like "we need a thing that does X" and come back with a finished system, making the small decisions along the way.

- You write: We work async. We use Slack, Notion, and Google Docs. If your default is to schedule a meeting, this is the wrong role.

Our culture: Async-first, zero bureaucracy, and a sustainable pace. We don't do crunch culture, we respect off-hours, and we completely pause work for Shabbat (Friday sundown to Saturday night). Sustained operators need sustained rest.

How to apply:

Fill out our application form here: https: https://tally.so/r/b5Nbe1

Full JD: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dP5-nrLAaGIMzkCSSdLyj78F...

Please do not send a resume. If we're interested, you will do a paid project (4-8 hours of work, solving a real problem we have). We pay you for your time whether we hire you or not. If it's a fit, we move fast.

Brandfetch (https://brandfetch.com) | Senior Backend Engineer | Remote | Full-time

Brandfetch is the internet’s canonical source for logos and brand assets. Think GitHub for brand identity: a brand repo that auto-indexes public assets, lets brand owners “commit” changes once, then propagates them—instantly and immutably—through CDNs, plugins, and APIs used by companies like Google, Canva, Salesforce, and soon … everywhere.

Problems you'd work on:

- Nightly curation bot auto-fixing outdated assets across 52M+ repos

- Next-gen ingestion and partition-key schema to leap from millions to billions of assets

- MCP server that exposes structured brand data to any AI agent or LLM, letting them fetch brand context on demand

- Vector search: surface any logo with ≥90% similarity in <50ms

- Real-time metering that pings Stripe the instant a user tops their quota

Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, Python, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFront, S3, CloudFormation), Serverless.

You:

- 8+ years of experience in backend software development.

- Proficiency with AWS tools (Cloudformation, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda, Cloudfront, S3, IAM, OpenSearch).

- Experience with building REST APIs.

- Ability to write well-documented, clean code.

- Experience with building DevOps pipelines using Serverless.

- Great communication skills (we work across multiple timezones and document everything).

- Experience with Machine Learning.

Competitive salary + equity in a profitable, growing company.

Kanmon | Senior FullStack Engineer | Hybrid (San Mateo) or REMOTE Kanmon is built around B2B finance and it's one of the largest and most broken markets in the world. SMBs are 44% of US GDP and extend over $5 trillion in trade credit to each other every year yet modern financial infrastructure intermediates less than 10% of it. The rest still runs on PDFs, paper invoices, and underwriting cycles measured in months.

Kanmon is rebuilding that stack from scratch. We're the finance infrastructure that lets software platforms embed payments and working capital directly into the software their SMB customers already run their businesses on.

Kanmon has raised new capital to go a layer deeper and are building an AI cashflow and business credit copilot that helps businesses make smarter financial decisions in real time. It's a genuinely new category of product, and we're architecting it from zero.

We're hiring a senior full-stack engineer to own it. End-to-end ownership, direct line to founders, no PM handoffs.

Full stack TypeScript: React, Next.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, GCP. Competitive comp | mags@kanmonhq.com

MintMCP | Founding Engineer / Founding GTM | SF Bay Area (ONSITE)

MintMCP helps enterprises safely roll out agents to the entire organization (e.g, governance around MCP tools and agents like Claude Code / Codex / Cowork). We're building an MCP gateway with abstractions useful for 1) preventing agents from doing the unintentionally bad things you hear about every week without constraining them to be useless, 2) getting the rest of your teams and organizations to adopt them with minimal friction.

We're a small team of humans with dozens of agents: our company operates on the infrastructure we build for enterprises. We're looking for agent-forward engineers and GTM folks to help solve scaling problems, maintain the highest standards for security, make agents and MCPs usable and useful.

If you have experience in infra, security, and agents, and believe MCP, while not perfect, will evolve to become critical AI infrastructure, you might find the problems we're working on exciting!

AxisCare | Senior + Mid-Level Software Engineers | Remote (US/Canada, ET/CT/MT) | https://axiscare.com/careers

We build the market-leading SaaS platform for the home care industry: scheduling, billing, payroll, CRM, and clinical documentation for agencies across all 50 US states and 6 countries. ~10,000 baby boomers turn 65 every day; the agencies using our software help them stay in their homes.

We're are small, fast teams that have gone deep on AI-augmented development. Not as a talking point; as the actual way we work. We prototype aggressively, put working software in front of stakeholders before a traditional process would finish a PRD, and iterate from there. We're looking for engineers who already work this way: driving agents on real codebases, maintaining quality when the machine is doing the typing, and knowing when to throw the output away.

Stack: PHP (backend), React + TypeScript (frontend), MySQL, RESTful APIs, AWS. You'll work across the full stack.

Senior (5+ yrs): Product-minded, systems-thinking engineers. You'd lead 1–2 engineers while still taking substantial features from concept to production solo. You mentor others in code design, systems thinking, and driving AI agents effectively.

Mid-Level (2+ yrs): This is a senior-track role. You'll ship real features with mentorship from senior and staff engineers who are deeply invested in your growth. We want engineers who see where things are heading and want to get ahead of it; going deep on architecture, design, and understanding the problems, not just writing the code.

Both roles: We want concrete evidence you use AI as a real tool, not a novelty. Push the tools until they fail, then tell us about it. We care about quality software that's easy to change, clear writing, and engineers who get curious about the customers, not just the tickets.

Compensation: Salary TBD based on experience. Medical/dental/vision covered in full for the employee. Company-provided equipment.

Apply with a brief resume and a cover letter (written or video — video goes to the front of the line). The cover letter matters; we read it first. Tell us what you've built, how AI has changed the way you work with specific examples, and why this team at this moment.

Candidates only, no recruiters. Feel free to reach out directly via email to wademeredith [at] axis care [dot] com.

Opendate | Senior Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails) | REMOTE (US only) | Full-time | https://www.opendate.io/careers/senior-full-stack-software-e...

Opendate is the operating system for live music venues — booking, ticketing, marketing, and settlement, all in one place. We replace the tangle of spreadsheets, holds-and-confirms email chains, and ticketing platforms that independent venues, promoters, and festivals have been duct-taping together for decades. Customers range from 200-cap clubs to multi-day festivals.

We're a Rails shop with real backend problems: multi-tenant ticketing at on-sale scale, financial settlements that have to reconcile to the penny, and integrations with the rest of the music industry's plumbing (Stripe, Dwolla, Seats.io, Twilio, SendGrid). If you like systems where correctness actually matters and the users are people you can go meet at a show, you'll fit in.

Stack: Rails, React/Redux, PostgreSQL, Redis, BigQuery, AWS, GCP, Docker, Terraform. Flutter on mobile. AI-first engineering culture — Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot are part of the daily workflow, not banned from it.

100% remote within the US (no sponsorship), with optional Indianapolis or Chicago offices if you want them. Looking for 5+ years of senior full-stack experience, comfortable owning projects end-to-end and shipping to production weekly.

Karma (pre-seed) | Senior Backend / Full-Stack Engineer (Founding Team) | London, UK | ONSITE (3-5 days London) | £75-100k base + meaningful equity | careers@karmapt.com

We're a small London team, 2+ years in, building a real-time consumer platform powered by AI in a category that doesn't exist yet, going after a problem worth solving. Free for users, brand-funded on the commercial side. Working iOS prototype, validated UX, advisory board across enterprise tech and behavioural science, alpha launches lined up for later in 2026.

The founding tech team is already in place across iOS, Flutter, AI/ML, and product design, with backgrounds across agentic AI, consumer fintech, and mobile at scale. The seat we're hiring for is the founding backend / full-stack engineer who'll own the architecture. APIs, data layer, real-time systems, cloud infrastructure. You'll design it from scratch alongside the rest of the team, built for consumer scale from day one.

What we're looking for:

- Built and scaled backends for consumer products under real load. Social, marketplace, or community experience a strong plus.

- Fluent in Python, Go, Node, or similar. Strong opinions on API design, microservices, and data modelling.

- Comfortable with event-driven architectures, real-time systems, and AWS or GCP at production scale.

- Bonus: ad-serving infrastructure, partner APIs, rewards/loyalty systems.

- UK-based already (no net-new visa sponsorship for this role), with us in our London office most days. We're a small team that works best in the room together.

We're vague on the concept for stealth reasons. Happy to take you through our prototype on a call.

Email careers@karmapt.com and mention Hacker News in your note. I'll come back quickly.

Loophole Labs | Senior Systems Engineer | REMOTE (Americas & Europe) | $150k–195k USD + equity | Go, Zig, Rust, C, eBPF, CRIU, Kubernetes

We make Architect: a Kubernetes runtime that hibernates idle pods in place and wakes them in 50ms with TCP connections intact. Five engineers. You'd be the 6th.

If tracing an x86 instruction in the morning and hunting a control-plane race in the afternoon both sound fun, and you insist on measuring rather than guessing, this is the job.

Customers run Architect for workloads where cold starts hurt: real-time voice & video AI agents, long-warming JVM apps, stateful data services that can't be rescheduled cheaply. 1.0 shipped Q1 2026; you'd join mid-way through 2.0. Seed-stage, VC-funded, a few years of runway. Fully distributed across the Americas and Europe.

What you'd work on:

- Hibernation surface: containerd shims and CRUISE, our Zig-native CRIU replacement.

- Control plane: per-node DaemonSet streaming checkpoints; admission controller resizing hibernated pods in place.

- Networking and migration: eBPF/XDP at line rate; cross-node live migration to production; cross-cloud next.

You're a senior generalist. Years across the stack: assembly to frontends, hardware-near, comfortable in x86. Tests ship with the code, decisions get worked out in writing, and you measure rather than guess. Strong in Go; willing to use Zig, Rust, or C.

Bonus: eBPF/XDP, CRIU, Linux kernel internals, containerd, gVisor, live migration, or public writing in kernel/container/eBPF land. Strong systems depth and the willingness to pick up the rest is enough on its own.

Apply: https://loopholelabs.io/careers - we respond within the week (typically a few days).
