Mattermost (https://mattermost.com) is an open-core collaboration and workflow automation platform for air-gapped, on-prem and private clouds. Our customers are in defense, intelligence, security and critical infrastructure, including the USAF and NASA. Y Combinator led our Series B, their largest open-source investment at the time.

Both openings are full stack on the core platform: Go backend, React/TypeScript frontend, PostgreSQL and Redis. The codebase is public (https://github.com/mattermost/mattermost), so most of what you build is too. We would rather hire people who ship and own complex software end to end than chase an exact stack match, so any systems or backend language and any frontend stack counts. What we look for in both roles: REST and WebSocket APIs with real networking fundamentals (HTTP, connection lifecycle), and relational databases including schema design and query optimization.

We use coding agents daily (Claude Code, Cursor, and others) at every stage of the work: planning, building, reviewing, testing, and shipping. We treat that as core craft rather than a shortcut around the fundamentals. If you have a track record of shipping and owning complex software end-to-end, we want to hear from you.

Senior Full Stack Engineer $142,723 - $172,723 USD Architect and ship full stack features end to end, own the testing strategy for what you ship, and build internal tooling and testing infrastructure that makes the rest of the team faster. You will work without close supervision and hold the security and compliance bar our customers require. Nice to have: distributed systems and high availability architecture, regulated-environment security, open-source contributions, experience on remote-first teams.

Staff Full Stack Engineer $172,724 - $227,135 USD Set technical direction for the platform rather than for a feature area: architecture and roadmap across the stack, the standards for how the org uses coding agents, and the strategy for internal tooling and testing. My team is looking to hire a software developer to help us design and extend QEMU support [1] for the Hexagon DSP [2]. We're looking for candidates who have experience coding in C, C++ or Rust* and who aren't afraid of rolling up their sleeves and poring over disassembled code. This particular architecture is a bit more challenging than most, because it's a bit unique. It's a VLIW [3], so it's a great opportunity to learn about an interesting architecture. Millions of Hexagon DSPs are out there, most are found in DragonWing/Snapdragon/DragonFly SoCs for Laptops, Android phones, cars and more!

We collaborate a lot with Open Source communities like QEMU, LLVM [4], the Linux kernel [5], and more. I love being able to work on Open Source software at my day job.

Veo makes an AI sports camera. One camera on any pitch records the match from several sensors, stitches them into one continuous view, and our models track every player and the ball for the whole game. Coaches and players get stats like goals, possession and passes.

You will build Rust and Python user-space apps on our embedded Linux camera, and help shape the firmware architecture and Linux platform. You won't be writing drivers or doing low-level hardware work. Day to day that means Yocto system services, D-Bus and device trees, BLE/Wi-Fi with GATT and Protobuf protocols to our mobile apps, cloud integrations (REST, S3, OpenTelemetry), and diagnostics across a fleet of devices. You will work closely with our AI, video and cloud teams.

Stack: Rust, Python, C, Yocto/OpenEmbedded (meta-tegra), Zephyr, NixOS, GitHub Actions, AWS S3, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Loggly.

Looking for: 5+ years of experience, fluency in at least two of Rust/Python/C, and experience with embedded Linux (Yocto) and BLE/Wi-Fi. MCU/RTOS experience is a plus.

Healthcare in the U.S. is a mess, and most of the data that could help is locked in places nobody can use. Komodo has mapped the patient journey across the country: diagnoses, treatments, providers, payers. Our customers are pharma companies, payers and health systems that want to act on that picture.

We're building the platform that puts it in their hands. There's an AI analyst that works across the whole map. There are apps that turn a population described in plain English into a full report in seconds, and tools that let analysts open, check and rerun the code behind every answer. Underneath all of it is a single query engine that every app and agent shares, so a new product is weeks of work instead of quarters.

Building has gotten cheap. Deciding what to build is the hard part now, and that's the job. We want product managers who:

  • Have shipped data, analytics or developer products that people use every day

  • Prototype things themselves with AI coding tools, and would rather show a working version than write a spec

  • Can sit with a customer, find the problem underneath the request, and say no to the rest

  • Write clearly and briefly
  Healthcare experience helps, but it isn't required. Curiosity about how the system actually works is.

Paramark helps Marketing teams optimize spend across all of their channels and programs. There are proven scientific ways to do this, but they are poorly understood and practiced by only a tiny fraction of teams. In this domain, it's hard to figure out what to build, and it's even harder to be both accurate and simple. You'll be joining a small team -- we have four product engineers. That means owning systems end to end and having real influence over what gets built. Your typical project will start with a high level goal, and you will figure out the rest.
