Duets Network | Founding Engineer | REMOTE (US) | Equity + discretionary cash | ~10–15 hrs/wk

Duets Network is an AI-powered platform connecting startups and investors across the sports and entertainment industries. We are building a dynamic ecosystem that bridges founders, capital, and strategic partners to drive meaningful growth and collaboration at the intersection of technology and culture.

The initial product is built out, and we're now looking for a fractional Founding Engineer to guide the technical side moving forward: architecture, infrastructure, data/recommendation systems, security, and scalability.

Our founding team: CEO, ex-Universal Music Group; CBO, ex-Andreessen Horowitz. You'd work directly with the founders, with no existing engineering org, and would:

- Assess and improve the existing React / Node.js / PostgreSQL / AWS codebase and infrastructure

- Set engineering architecture, standards, and technical priorities

- Design the data + recommendation/scoring layer behind founder/investor/partner matching

- Build out DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment processes

- Make pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions and coordinate external engineers/vendors as needed

- Serve as the primary technical team member, with real influence over the technology foundation and future engineering org

We're particularly interested in someone who has owned architecture end-to-end. Ideally with experience in matching, recommendation, ranking, or scoring systems. You should be comfortable explaining technical tradeoffs to non-technical founders and investors.

This is a fractional role (~10–15 hrs/wk), compensated with equity plus discretionary cash. It's a fit if you want the opportunity to be an early technical team member without a traditional full-time commitment. We're early-stage and moving fast, so you don't need to check every box, we're looking for someone curious, adaptable, and excited to build with us.

If interested, email team[at]duetsnetwork[dot]com with "Founding Engineer" in the subject line.

Interview Resources | 2 Full Stack AI Engineer, 1 GTM | REMOTE | Full-Time | $250k seed raised

Interview Resources is building an AI-powered deep research platform for interview preparation. Instead of generic interview guides, we autonomously research company-specific interview experiences across Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, engineering blogs, company websites, Glassdoor, and other public sources, then generate structured preparation reports in minutes.

We are already profitable with 3k+ paid users.

Our stack currently includes Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, Vercel, AWS, and modern AI tooling. Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, RAG, vector databases, or AI agents is a strong plus, but curiosity and the ability to learn quickly matter more.

We're looking for someone who:

Has strong full-stack engineering skills. Has built and deployed production applications. Loves working with AI and LLM-powered products. Takes ownership and ships quickly. Has personal projects or open-source work they're proud of.

Expected salary: $30k – $90k (flexible based on experience, impact, and per capita)

Expected Joining Date: 1st October

To apply, visit https://www.interviewresources.app/careers (No Email; my email is spammed) with:

1. Your CV/Resume. Your GitHub profile.

2. Why do you like InterviewResources? (product-driven answer) Log in to the site and just see some sample reports.

3. One piece of work or project you're most proud of (include links if possible).

4. Please include your expected salary and location in your application.

Human-written messages are more likely to get a response.

River (AI voice agents for B2B sales) | New York, NY | ONSITE | Full-time

We build AI voice agents that run live B2B sales calls — real-time voice, browser-driven product demos, automated follow-up. We're pre-seed, backed by the founders of Ramp, Kalshi, and JumpCloud, revenue is on, and demand is already outpacing what we can serve. It's a genuinely fun problem, and we'd love to find the right people to build it with.

We're hiring two founding engineers. To save everyone's time, here's what the role really needs — if a few of these are a strong yes, we'd love to hear from you:

NYC-based and up for working in person (5 days). We're not able to do relocation or visa sponsorship right now. TypeScript/Node as your main production stack — the one you actually ship in day to day. You've shipped real software that real people used — something in production, with revenue, or a startup you built (not tutorials or coursework). You've built something real with LLM APIs. You like owning things end to end — finding the problem and fixing it without waiting for a spec.

Two levels:

Founding Backend Engineer (5+ yrs): real-time/streaming depth (WebRTC, voice, low-latency), plus infra and reliability ownership. Founding Product Engineer (2–4 yrs): frontend-leaning (React/Next.js), customer-facing, CS degree or equivalent standout shipped work.

No need for a formal resume — just send a link to something you're proud of that real people used, and a line on what you owned. We read every one.

DAT | Frontline Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager | Seattle, Portland, Denver | Hybrid 2-3 days/week | Full-time | $192k - $261k

I'm hiring for a frontline EM building the automation and trust layer for freight pricing, matching, onboarding, and settlement.Lead 1-3 teams (FTE + contractors), own delivery end-to-end, ~8 yrs exp typical. I expect everyone in my eng org (myself included!) to be technical and be able to help unblock the team, though your day-to-day wont be in the code.

Technical here means you can/will get into the code yourself and architecture reviews and maintain technical credibility with our junior to staff/principal level engineers. These are not player-coach roles, but these are frontline roles that need that technical capability.

Interesting problems: trust/fraud at marketplace scale; legacy-data-meets-modern-stack; and all kinds of problems that come with powering hundreds of thousands of load/shipment postings every day.

AI/LLM: We are leaned in, but still hold humans responsible for what they push and expect everyone to review and understand llm output before asking other humans to look at a thing.

Culture: I am deeply familiar with Google's project oxygen/aristotle and am building a culture where our teams can do great work with minimal bs.

Location: Must be local to one of our three locations (Seattle, Portland, Denver).

Primary Tech: Node/TS, React, GraphQL, Kafka/redpanda, k8s, AWS, etc

Sunspell | Founding Engineer | New York, NY | ONSITE | Full-time | https://sunspell.fm/careers/founding-engineer

Six-person venture lab in New York. We build our own products. A studio arm does client work, is profitable, and pays for the rest.

Our founder ran her own design studio and was the founding design partner on Partiful, on Sentropy before Discord bought it, on Goldcast before Cvent, on Make before Celonis, and on Descartes Labs. She builds here now instead of for other people.

You would own the production application around our intelligence layer. Architecture, frontend, backend, Postgres, durable execution state, retries and idempotency, permissions, deploys, and the data-heavy interfaces people work inside all day: tables, relationships, filters, history, approvals. React and TypeScript at depth, Node or Python behind it. We write a lot of MCP servers and build with Claude Code daily.

Seven-plus years shipping, hands on code within the last year. Design and engineering sit in the same room here. There is no handoff.

Most people who apply like the words "founding engineer." We are looking for someone who has already started something of their own.

Ownership. You should own a piece of what you build here. We are not going to post a percentage, because the honest answer depends on what you end up carrying, and we would rather work that out with you than hand you a number that pretends to be precise. It is a conversation, it is flexible, and we intend it to be fair.

We are six people. Nothing you build goes through a committee before it ships. Nothing you break, you fix alone. We are a tight team today and we are looking to double it by the end of the year.

Please send your resume or GitHub, plus the most ambitious thing you have built mostly on your own. Rough work that worked beats polished that never shipped.

If this is not you but a name comes to mind, please pass it along. :)

InfoHawk | Software Engineer | London, UK or NYC | REMOTE (UK or US), occasional onsite | Full-time | https://www.infohawk.com

Fraud reaches people through ads, cloned brand sites, counterfeit shops and AI-generated video, and it moves faster than any manual review. InfoHawk detects it while it is still running, correlates it across platforms and formats, and surfaces it early enough for our customers to act. We are a small team of engineers plus security, privacy and fraud specialists. Pre-seed, $2.25M led by Moonshots Capital: https://www.infohawk.com/news/2026-06-08-pre-seed-funding-an...

You’d own how data gets in: scrapers and collectors that survive source changes, official APIs where they exist, undocumented endpoints where they don’t. Sources break constantly. Can you figure out how to use AI to spot the change and adapt automatically? Stack: TypeScript, Node, SvelteKit, Postgres, Playwright, heavy AI-assisted development.

We’re looking for ~3-5 years building scraping or integration systems in production, but if you’re a great engineer who doesn’t tick every box we’d still like to hear from you. UK-based for London, US-based for NYC; we cannot sponsor visas. Two of our three founders are engineers, one in each city, and you’ll work with them directly.

Enrollment123 | https://e123insurtech.com | Staff Platform Engineer | REMOTE (US) | Full-time

We are SaaS platform that connects Insurance Carriers, Agencies and Agents, and enables sales to consumers.

My team is hiring a Staff Platform Engineer to keep things running smoothly and help our engineers modernize and build new products.

We are responsible for:

    - security for PCI and HIPAA data
    - AWS infrastructure that serves millions of people every month
    - developer tools and infrastructure to allow our teams to deliver
    - data engineering and operational support

Our stacks include:

    (70% --) SQL Server + ColdFusion
    (25% ++) Postgres + node/typescript
    (5%) Airflow + python
It's not a flashy product or stack I'll admit, but we have a lot of opportunities to improve the product and a lot of growth potential to expand our impact. Happy to tell you more!

If you're interested, email me at jjay+orangesite@enrollment123.com with your honest, hand-written resume. I don't want some super polished AI bullshit, show me your real experience! The interview process is hopefully short and sweet: 1) meet with me for a quick intro to ensure we'll be a good mutual fit, 2) advance to a technical interview with the team, then 3) a last culture + company info session so you have all the info to make a decision.

Location: Córdoba, Argentina Remote: Yes, remote only Willing to relocate: No Technologies: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node, GraphQL with Apollo, Playwright, SQLite, Postgres, LLM agents, MCP servers, RAG, promptfoo evals, OpenTelemetry Résumé/CV: https://portfolio-aguirre-alexis.vercel.app GitHub: https://github.com/ale-aguirre Email: aguirrealexis.cba@gmail.com

Full-stack dev, 5+ years, last year spent building LLM products rather than demos.

I have a document comparison SaaS running in production at an Argentine auto parts manufacturer, 72 employees, in a domain audited against IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. Two people there use it for their actual work. The interesting part is not the LLM call, it is the semantic reclassification I run after it, because the model kept flagging paraphrases as real differences.

I also run an autonomous job search agent on my own search. The useful thing it taught me was that my own verifier was lying. It counted a URL redirect as a successful application, and one integration had been failing at zero percent for months while the aggregate sat at seventy eight.

A job posting with hidden instructions once got that same agent to write ten years of Kubernetes into my CV. The system prompt did not stop it, a deterministic validator did. I published that as intent-gate on npm.

Yesterday I shipped a PR and two issues to an open source AI SDLC project, one of them about an agent being able to write the field that marks its own check as platform verified.

Proxybase | Backend Systems Engineer (Rust) | Remote, Global | Full-Time

Hi HN, I’m the founder of Proxybase [0]. We’re building a SOCKS5 proxy network focused on transparency and ethical sourcing in the residential proxy market. A quick note for anyone who applied last month: thank you to everyone who reached out. We received far more strong applications than expected, and between running day-to-day operations and working through the backlog, we took much longer to reply than we should have. If you applied last month and haven’t heard back yet, I’m sorry for the delay. We’re actively reviewing those applications alongside this new batch.

Why Proxybase? The residential proxy industry has a rough history. Some providers rely on hidden background scrapers bundled into TV firmware or mobile apps, while others use payout systems that can hold provider funds for months.

We’re trying to build something better: Open-source clients: Our GUI [1] and CLI [2] are fully open source, so anyone can inspect and audit what runs on their device. Explicit consent: Providers knowingly opt in. No stealth bundling. Fair, fast payouts: The minimum payout is $1, sent directly to provider wallets in USD stablecoins. We do not hold funds to earn interest on them.

We’re hiring a Backend Systems Engineer with Rust experience to help build:

Asynchronous SOCKS5 routing infrastructure, Daemon and node orchestration, Automated bandwidth-allocation pipelines

Stack: Rust, Tokio, Axum, SOCKS5, Linux systemd daemons, SQLite

Location: Fully remote, async-friendly, flexible time zones Compensation: Competitive salary plus equity. USD or stablecoin payment options are available.

If you’re interested in building infrastructure for an industry that needs better standards, email jobs@proxybase.xyz with your GitHub, résumé, and a short note about what you’ve been working on recently.

I’ll also be around in the comments to answer questions and hear feedback.
