Full Stack Software Engineer | San Francisco, CA | Full-time | ONSITE | $150K-$210K + equity

We're an early-stage startup building a SaaS platform combining data infrastructure, pipelines, and AI agents for power systems. Small team, high ownership, founders in the room.

What you'd own: - End-to-end features across frontend, backend APIs, and data pipelines - Data infra now → pipelines next → AI agent features by end of Q1 - Architecture decisions, not just implementation

Stack: Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, Docker Nice to have: Svelte, GraphQL, LLM agents, GIS/Mapbox

4-6 yrs experience. Fluent English. Must work onsite in SF.

Engineering Manager | Remote (North America) | $180k-$230k

Team grew fast and organically — lots of talented engineers, no shared process yet. This role turns that into a scalable, high-throughput org. Reports to VP of Eng (who owns architecture/vision); you own execution, delivery, and people for ~10 distributed engineers (US/Canada/EU/UK/China). ~90% people management, not player-coach.

You'll own sprint commitments and release cycles, run 1:1s and coaching, remove cross-team roadblocks, own incident response and on-call, and track/improve DORA metrics. Also expected to hold a high bar — direct conversations on underperformance, PIP-first, exit if needed — while keeping the culture kind and caring.

Need: 2+ yrs directly managing ~10-person eng teams, distributed/async experience, strong enough technically to run code reviews and push back on estimates (not coding day-to-day), track record raising delivery throughput at a high-growth company.

Nice to have: big-company process background (Google/Meta/Salesforce-style) mixed with startup speed, and logistics/supply chain/e-commerce domain exposure.

Must overlap ~6 hrs with US Eastern (9am-4pm ET).

Proton:Senior Foundation Engineer (Drive):Geneva or London, ONSITE

Proton builds the privacy-first alternative to Big Tech: Mail, VPN, Drive, Pass, Calendar, and Lumo AI. We're profitable, have no VC control, and are majority owned by the nonprofit Proton Foundation, so no one can force a change in mission.

The Drive Foundation team builds the core SDK powering every Proton Drive client,C#, TypeScript, and Rust daily, with Swift and Kotlin bindings for mobile. It's foundational work: what you build here ships to every Drive client, and there's a crypto model revamp plus a Rust based next gen SDK on the roadmap.

Looking for someone with 5+ years of professional software experience and strong Rust expertise (ownership, concurrency), plus experience building libraries for client applications (web/mobile/desktop). Don't check every box but think you'd be a strong fit? We say apply anyway.

Orbit | Product Engineer | Full-time | REMOTE (EU) | German a plus

Orbit is an AI-first logistics operating system — order intake, route planning, carrier management, driver app, tracking, documents — replacing the Excel-and-phone stack that most of transport logistics still runs on. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and growing in a market full of VC-funded competitors. Our customers stay because the product works.

The role: we call it Product Engineer because you own a piece of the product from idea to production — deciding the solution, building it, shipping it, iterating on feedback. Not ticket-driven work. Small, strong team.

How we build: spec-driven agentic development, not vibe coding. You orchestrate agents against structured specs and persistent project context, verify output, and help build the harness itself (skills, context layers, workflows, evals). We think the engineering bottleneck has moved from typing speed to judgment — knowing what good software looks like and directing agents to produce it. If that matches how you already work, you'll feel at home.

Stack: TypeScript everywhere, zod, tRPC, Node.js, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB/ElectroDB, SST), React/Remix, React Native/Expo. AI layer via Bedrock. You don't need to know every line of it.

Culture: all-remote (EU), async-first, low-meeting. Writing is the most important skill here. Profit sharing via our "Own Orbit" program, quarterly meetups in Hamburg, team offsites ("SpaceWalks") wherever two or more Orbiters want to meet — Orbit covers the stay. Good English required; German is a plus (customers and product are German-speaking).

No cover letter. Show us something you built — a side project, an agent workflow, a repo, an MCP server — and tell us how you work with agents.

Namecoach/Euphonia | Founding Voice AI Engineer (part-time, path to CAIO) | SF or Remote | REMOTE | Contract / Part-time, ~$30-120/hr by seniority, potentially converting to FT

Namecoach has spent 10 years building the largest verified pronunciation dataset of its kind: ~2M self-recorded name pronunciations, plus a large corpus of human-verified phonetic spellings.

We're now building Euphonia (https://euphonia.namecoach.ai/), a provider-neutral middleware layer that makes any TTS engine pronounce names, acronyms, and other out-of-vocabulary terms correctly. The new wave of TTS (models from OpenAI, ElevenLabs, etc) sounds great but gives you almost no phoneme-level control, so it gets lots of names and words wrong and you can't easily fix it. We sit in front of these engines and fix it.

We want real depth in speech and phonetics: grapheme-to-phoneme, IPA, ASR/TTS internals, and the ability to build and evaluate models around them (the recognition and G2P side especially). You should be comfortable shipping with agentic dev tools like Claude Code and Cursor. This is a 0 to 1 founding voice AI engineering role with a genuine path to Chief AI Officer for the right person.

Part-time to start (flexible hours, ~2hr/day overlap with US Pacific), with a paid take-home and a paid trial month before anything longer term. Potential conversion to full-time role. Series A closed, bridge to B in motion.

Full JD: https://wellfound.com/l/2ChdJ2

Email hiring+hn@name-coach.com with a short note on what interests you and a link to something you've built. G2P / TTS / ASR open-source work gets read first.

Lumen Labs | Simulation/RL Integration Engineer | REMOTE (US/Canada), then ONSITE SF from fall 2026 | $130k–200k + early equity | Visa OK

Lumen (https://lumenresearch.ai) is building the cognitive layer for physical AI. Most robotics efforts today learn from thousands of hours of human teleoperation; we think that has a ceiling. White paper: http://lumenresearch.co/paper

Team of two ex-founders — you'd be #3. Pre-seed, runway well into 2027, raising a seed later this year.

We test many model architectures against many sims, and hooking them together is our biggest pain point. We use Gymnasium and Shimmy as the plumbing and upstream useful pieces as open-source contributions. You'd build per-sim adapters to a shared interface contract, bridge single-env vs. GPU-vectorized and sync vs. async paradigms, and own our eval harness.

Looking for: strong Python, Gymnasium (especially the vector API), hands-on experience with Isaac, MuJoCo, or Gazebo, and a track record of getting models running in sims where they didn't before.

Email hi@lumenresearch.co about you and your projects — link one where you got a model working in a sim it wasn't built for and you'll jump the pile.

Regnitive | Technical Co-Founder | Toronto, ON, Canada (Ontario Preferred) | Equity

I'm looking for a Technical Co-Founder to help build and scale the product long term. This is an equity-based founding role with a meaningful ownership stake for the right person. I'm looking for someone who wants to build a company, not take on freelance or consulting work.

Ideally, you:

Are based in Ontario (strongly preferred) or elsewhere in Canada Have strong full-stack engineering experience Have built or helped scale SaaS products Enjoy solving complex technical problems Want to build for the long term

Please take a look at https://regnitive.com first. If what we're building resonates with you, email chiomakamalu@regnitive.com with a short introduction and your LinkedIn and/or GitHub. If it looks like a good mutual fit, I'd be happy to set up a conversation.

BW Events Tech | Senior Software Engineer | REMOTE | CONTRACT (~40 hrs/wk, hourly, rate DOE + location) | Python/Django/React, AWS + GCP

We build ShowUp, the software that runs live events end to end: check-in, badging, session scanning, lead capture, exhibitor portals. It runs in real time, on-site, where there's no second chance to get it right. We work with teams of every size, including three of the Fortune 5, across hundreds of events a year worldwide.

We're hiring one senior engineer to own core platform development - improvements, integrations, reliability — and ship it end to end. You'll work with our eng lead, who sets architecture and reviews the work, while you run with a lot of autonomy. We want someone who can take an ambiguous problem, scope it, and ship it without needing it broken down first. Builder role: no reports, real ownership.

We're an AI-forward team and lean on AI tooling heavily to punch above our size; we expect you to use it to amplify your judgment, not replace it.

Stack: Python, Django, React, on AWS and GCP. More detail: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18F2bypRBJxQDTsTNdazpz2SB...

Looking for: 8+ years, senior experience owning complex domains, fast ramp in unfamiliar codebases, strong judgment on ambiguous work, fluent everyday use of AI tools, clear communication. Event-tech or integration-heavy background is a plus.

Individuals only — no agencies, staffing firms, or third-party recruiters.

Portless | AI Engineer (Founding seat) | Remote (North America) | $180k-$230k

AI usage today is basic — decks, spreadsheets, a few people vibe-coding dashboards. No real agentic workflows yet. This is a founding seat to build that: shipping high-impact agentic workflows yourself, plus reusable building blocks (APIs, MCP tools, docs) so any team can build their own.

Example first project: an agent for inbound invoice questions — reads the question, pulls the right invoice, drafts a context-aware reply — turning an hour of manual work into ~30 seconds.

Need: 3+ yrs SWE with 1-2+ yrs shipping production AI systems, 10+ real agentic/LLM workflows built end-to-end, a genuine platform mindset (built tools/infra for others, not just yourself), strong Python and/or TypeScript, and relevant sector background (e-commerce, 3PL, logistics, or similar B2B).

Nice to have: RAG pipelines, vector DBs, multi-step agent orchestration, eval frameworks.

Sports Trading Exchange | Founding Engineer / CTO | Remote USA | $140–200k + meaningful equity + founder seat available

We're building a peer-to-peer exchange where fans buy and sell positions in individual athletes, like a stock. Real money, central limit order book, mechanical settlement against a published rules-based rating computed from official on-field stats. There is no house. Fans trade against each other like a prediction market.

We are far along on everything except the build. Rating methodology is designed, legal structure is scoped with counsel, payments and data vendors are selected, and we ran a beta this past NFL season that drew ~1,000 organic users and 21,000 trades in four weeks. The founding team was part of Founders Inc, and we are about to open our seed round.

We are hiring the engineer who owns the entire technical build, with no inherited architecture and nobody between them and the problem:

Matching engine and order book Rating and settlement engine, deterministic, computed from official stats Ledger, custody, and the real-time data pipeline Every architecture decision, including one we have deliberately left open: on-chain vs off-chain custody and settlement at v1

Looking for someone who has built correctness-critical, concurrent systems. Trading, exchanges, payments, or comparable. Language is open. We care about systems depth, not a specific stack. Two non-technical founders, so you would own the technical domain completely and be the technical voice with investors and eventually regulators. Email me leon@fansharesapp.com if interested, thanks

Comograph — replacing resumes with verified proof of work. Engineers complete real challenges, get a capability score, and are hired on evidence, not credentials. We're two pre-seed founders looking for a founding Product Designer/PM — someone to own the entire design system and UX (engineers + employers) from scratch, and help shape the roadmap, not just execute briefs. Looking for someone who's shipped real products, thinks in systems, pushes back on bad ideas, and is comfortable with total ambiguity. Two-sided platform/marketplace experience a big plus. Honest caveat: no salary yet, pre-revenue. What's on offer is founder-level equity and real ownership. If you've looked at hiring platforms and thought "this is solvable" — email ceo@comograph.com with a portfolio and a note on what you'd fix about hiring today (that part matters more). comograph.com
